JAPANESE FOOTWEAR AND LUGGAGE

Classic made in U.S.A. footwear and luggage are exceptional artifacts of the rugged and refined American past. Deus is a completely different kind of motorcycle company. While focussing on the design and construction of costum motorcycles, Deus promotes and celebrates a costum motorcycle culture that first appeared in Europe and America in the 1940's which has recently been revived by groups of young enthusiasts in Japan, America and Australia.

The new free iPhone app, gForce, from Porsche and Mobil1 is simple: press the start button and immediately begin recording you driving speed, distance and duration and g-force. Play it safe, though. DNA OF ARTU NAPOLI

Again the beautiful colour combi in this 1960's add was a big inspiration for the new summer collection 2012. The cognac, army green and warm beige colours are already printed in the DNA of Artu Napoli.

Europe's biggest tradeshow, the "Bread and Butter" was a big success! Visitors noticed that there was many interest of fashion journalists, lifestylebloggers and the best retailers from all over the world. The best comment was from a new client from NYC and he said "Artu Napoli will be a long lasting success story. I am looking forward to the time ahead of us."

Rolex Submariner history

We believe that the Rolex Submariner is watch royalty, in that it was a pioneer in terms of its functionality as the world's first deep water resistant watch. Perhaps the submariner is the model most closely associated with Rolex, and in fact, the Submariner is "the Rolex" in the public's mind. James Bond wore a Submariner in several of his character's films, which really helped to launch the watch among the non-diving public. Paris has now joined Beijing, Beirut, Buenos Aires, Doha, Dubai, Florence, Geneva, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Macao, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Portofino, Riyadh, Shanghai and Tokyo as a location of an Officine Panerai watch boutique. The Parisian shop with the latest concept is located in the 1st arrodissement on Rue de la Paix's Jewelery row, between Place Vendome and Opera Garnier.

A BOOK STORE MADE IN HEAVEN

Erected inside a former 800 year old Dominican church, this bookstore is said to hold the largest stock of books in English in Maastricht, one of the oldest cities in The Netherlands. It was always going to be a challenging task for architects Merkx + Girod who designed the space, to stay true to the original character and charm of the church, whilst also achieving a desirable amount of commercial space. Taking advantage of the massive ceiling, both have been achieved. With a giant bookshelf, with stairs and elevators taking shoppers and visitors alike, up to the heavens, to roof of the church.
