PANERAI BOUTIQUE - PARIS

Paris has now joined Beijing, Beirut, Buenos Aires, Doha, Dubai, Florence, Geneva, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Macao, Madrid, Moscow, New York, Portofino, Riyadh, Shanghai and Tokyo as a location of an Officine Panerai watch boutique. The Parisian shop with the latest concept is located in the 1st arrodissement on Rue de la Paix's Jewelery row, between Place Vendome and Opera Garnier.

A BOOK STORE MADE IN HEAVEN

Erected inside a former 800 year old Dominican church, this bookstore is said to hold the largest stock of books in English in Maastricht, one of the oldest cities in The Netherlands. It was always going to be a challenging task for architects Merkx + Girod who designed the space, to stay true to the original character and charm of the church, whilst also achieving a desirable amount of commercial space. Taking advantage of the massive ceiling, both have been achieved. With a giant bookshelf, with stairs and elevators taking shoppers and visitors alike, up to the heavens, to roof of the church.

Which car do you prefer? The new 2009 Ferrari California GT, or the classic 1961 Ferrari 250 GT?

We go for the classic, shown above. Turns out, this classic Ferrari 250 GT sold for roughly $11 million to a British radio DJ. That beats out any car sold in history, with the second being a Frerrari 330 TRI/LM which sold for just $9.3 million. Note to self:  1) buy a new ferrari   2) don't ever drive it   3) wait 40 years  4) profit.

Aside from the previously seen orange version, another calfskin choice includes an "etoupe" and chrome combination as well.The limited edition cameras will be limited to 100 pieces per color with sequential numbering ranging from 001/200 to 200/200. Each camera body comes paired with a Leica wide-angle lens, a matching classic round lens hood, a rapid winder and a real leather carrying strap matched to the colour of the camera, all delivered in a linen-covered, silk-lined box. The camera will carry a suggested retail price of $14.000 USD.
